Title: Corvette NSW Complience
Post by: Mossey on November 28, 2013, 07:21:52 AM
Having just purchased a recently imported 82 Collectors Edition can anyone fill me in on what is required for NSW compliance for normal registration, is it just a case of what was known as a Blue Slip or is there more involved RMS web site is rather confusing...

Hi Mossey
Welcome to the forum the 3 requirements  for rego are headlites  which dip to the left (holden premier ones are direct replacement). Orange rear turn indicators,( a modification to rear wiring is required to make reverse lights to work as turn indicators & change globes to twin filament orange type) australian compliant seatbelts.(I have kits to suit this car). After these mods are done, Engineers report for mods, weigh bridge ticket, blue slip inspection, rego.
Check with who you are going to get to do blue slip, they all interpret rules differently
