My Second thought
Newton’s second law
Is the underlying starting point of a brake upgrade, along with numerous influences.
Mmm
I wonder how many year 8 ( in my day 2nd form )  students, these day learn the basic’s we did  back in the day.

Seeing motor vehicle’s, for road use are designed on better than a 3:1 safety factor .

A rule, a set of 6’’ dividers, a protractor  some cardboard if cad is not available, the will then your on your way to a good start.

I just happed to have a set of c4 front suspension with cross member
A set of c5 rotors
A set of c6 calibers
Question  what is the inside diameter of your wheels and the offset to clear the calipers

Have a look at "corvetteforums.com - c5 brakes on a c4"

One of the threads is quite informed.

One thing I recall being said - is that C4 rear brakes are technically as good as C5 ie. Nothing to gain.
But changing them also requires more work because the park brake is totaly different.

Regsrds.
