Title: 1965 C2 327 Convertible up for auction at Shannons

I'm keen to bid, but the description doesn't tell me whether the engine is numbers matching.  The description says 'The owner even researched the castings on the engine block, cylinder head, intake manifold, carburettor, transmission case, diff etc., all of them lining up correctly with the final assembly date of March 31, 1965'.  This suggests it might be a 'period correct' engine, but if it was truly numbers matching surely it would say that, right?

Why wouldn't they show a picture of the stamp pad on the engine, the VIN and the paint/trim pad?

Pictures look great but the money shots aren't there...
