Hi All,
Over the past few months, I have been having issues with driving my Vette, like is should be driven. (Hard) :drag:
If I drive like a grandmother (Sorry Nan) the gears change normally.
But, if I want to "slip" into a gap in traffic, the gearbox drops out of gear, into a neutral like position.
I have been told that the gearbox needs a complete rebuild.
My questions to this forum are, how much should this cost and can anyone recommend a shop for this work to be completed correctly this first time around?

Hi Rusty
on the home page of our website you will find an ad for APS Automatics at Richmond. I know its not just round the corner from you, but he did the T700 in my '88 some years ago, and did an excellent job. Give him a ring mate, I do not give away recommendations lightly!
cheers
:drag:

Rusty, don't want to take anything away from the Club's sponsors but, if you're looking for someone a bit closer, go see Rod at Wyong Automatics in Mildon Road Tuggerah.
