Well what a top day.

A great turn out of 245 vehicles.

Car of Show (Corvette) went to a White C3 owned by Robert Harding. This car has obviously had many many hours of work put into it.

The show runner up went to  Blue C5 owned by Simon Smith.

Thank you to all participants who came along and congratulations to the two winners.

There were a lot of fine Corvettes there , many had no judging sheet on the window and were not judged, but they were good enough to compete and I suggest next year they enter and give the usual winners a run for their money.

As of 11.42 Fri, I've been advised the weather is clearing and Sunday will be fine.

So please keep an eye open for any Big changes, but the day should be good.

Attention Corvetteers.

Please be advised that we are having a few hiccups with Booking the Motels.

A few wires have been crossed, both International & Nth Parkes (same Qld based owner) have been on hold  as their system could not accept booking as the new 2025 rates had not been set and installed.

As of 11.28 today Nth Parkes  has 33 rooms set aside and the International has 19.

The Station is on holidays - ergo we wait. (This period (April) is their down time)

The Bushmans HAD 30 rooms which are all allocated.
So please be patient.

Members.
Those of you who attend meetings will be aware that a committee has been set up to organise the 2025 Nationals.
To be held in Parkes NSW, 28th thru 31st March '25.

Now Parkes has limited accomodation, and in an endeavour to keep participants close, we have selected four motels (4) that are close together.
These are:
Bushmans Motor Inn.
North Parkes Motel. 02 6863 4333 Leanne or Andrew
Parkes International. 02 6862 5222 Bree or Tom.
Station Motel. 02 6862 8444 Samara or Jason.

Your Club has booked out all four - ie, reserved all rooms for the CNC25 attendees, but notice no number for Bushmans - its now full up.
So if you are attending, then you had better book NOW. Also very important to ring the above numbers, other third party booking agents will advise you they are booked out - so you must use the numbers above and talk to the staff AND tell them you are with the Corvette clubs.

And here I was worried we would not get many takers.
This is a back to basics Nationals, printed info will be out soon.
But if you are going , then think about booking Now, there are plenty of motels in Parkes but these four are close together.

Codgers Run Thursday 21st.

Meet Nth side carpark of The Entrance Bridge at 10am for 10.15 departure.

Proceed via Elizabeth Bay (Drive) and Old Pacific Hwy to Murray's Beach Cafe for coffee..... or tea.

Then to Belmont and the Valentine Bowling club right on the Lake for Lunch.

Contact Pete by 18th Mar so he can book the tables ( very necessary ).

This one is only a stones throw from NCLE so I'd expect to see NCLE members fighting for a spot, even if only for the lunch part.

C U there.

A small note for members who did not attend the March Meeting.

Unlike last year there will be NO place for the club to display cars.

The Show Trust advised recently.
