Title: C3 headlight adjustment for Australia
Post by: 72C3 on January 13, 2013, 01:06:32 PM
Just converted my low beams to Australian sealed beams. Is there an easy way to get the lights pointed in the right direction for Australian conditions. I know the mechanics of the adjustments on the car, but how to get them to the right point is the issue.  Do you put marks on a wall and have the car a certain distance away or what.  Any help would be good.  Don't intend to drive it to much at night by if the situation ever arose, I want to be able to see where I am going and not blind the oncoming traffic

Mate you can do it that way
Park th car  3m pr o from the wall  of suitable flat surface  and check where the lights
High beam straight ahead
Check  low beam  has with a little left bias.

If the lights on your daily drive are okay, then you can use them against a wall at a distance of a few metres to mark where the Vette's lights should also shine when parked at the same distance from the wall.

Remember. That the vette lights are a lot closer to the ground compared to most  pasanger cars

Use your daily drive as a comparison  only
To get the idea of how it all should work
