Mine is leaking a little. Do these diff's have a gasket for the rear of the pumpkin or do they just use gasket goo? I tightened the rear housing bolts and it still leaks. :tear:
Can't seem to fing any replacement gaskets so I assume we just you the gasket goo?

if you have to remove the rear
it would be the time to add a drain to the housing
For your oil servicing.
makes servicing a lot easier.
I use Limsip 90 in my car
stops the thing chattering in corners

Indeed! Just like when you remove the auto pan for servicing!

Well Yes but not quite
At least you change the filter in the auto when its pants come off.

With a drain plug I don't get a panful of trans fluid on my head! I can never seem to drain a pan that has no plug without doing that!

Good quality sealer

Be careful doing that.
The bolts are " self tappers" installed at the factory; very easy to lean on them a little hard and strip the thread out.
When I built my D44, I installed and Loctited studs into the case so I wasn't working the threads in the soft alum housing
