Title: Re locate alternator?
Post by: Darylle on September 23, 2017, 10:45:16 AM
Hi again
Does anyone know if I can shift the alternator from pass to driver's side and what brackets may be required?

The best set up IMO is in front of the RH head
It's seen here on the Holden 350 Monaro
You need to change a few things to do it
Water pump need to be a long  unit
Bottom pulleys changed as well.
it's would be a costly exercise unless you are lucky enough to find the parts here at a good price
I have seen a bracket set that set the alternator high on the RH head
But the 350 set up is sound and standard once fitted
Do u have power steering
