Title: 87 Alternater any one
Post by: Vettech on February 21, 2014, 06:36:23 PM
Fixed the running problem,, now I need an Alternater, tried Ian at Chev Parts, none, tried Repco, none, tried two Auto Elecs, none. A big none because they can't find an equivalent nor a genuine Delco Remy. Tried Russ at CBTN and he's chasing his suppliers. So I'm back to square One. Bigger.  :tears: :tears:

Thanks GTC. I rang & they had rebuilt Delco/Remy in the plastic bag and GM box, full warranty. They are immaculate, and of course since it is the correct original part, it fitted straight on, everything lined up, connectors etc. And as I HaD a job down at Blue Have pools -virtually across the Hwy, I dropped in and bought one --- ONLY $205ea.
They do delivery and 4 an Alt it was only $11 up to CBTN/ Minto - bloody good value. Thank you.
