Title: Blue slip

Hi folks, I'm just trying to find out if someone here knows where I can get a blue slip in Newcastle area.
I'm picking up a car currently registered in Queensland and want to register it in NSW.
I tried my local Holden dealership but they don't do blue slips and couldn't tell me where I could get one.

Hi Kev,  google  motor mechanic shops in Newcastle and ring them.

Well Kev congratulations.
What did you get model etc, one of the northern croup will see this and let you know of a reliable person to take the car to.

"Vehicles not currently registered in NSW must have an Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Scheme (AUVIS) inspection (previously called a blue slip) before they can be registered. The inspection verifies the safety of an unregistered vehicle, while making sure it meets design and identity standards."

Here is the RMS list for postcode 2300. Look for those examiners who state "Unregistered Light Vehicle Inspections":
