RJ7868,
This is not related to your question, but are you in for the Corvette/XU1 run on the 12 November 2006?
Weather permitting of course!

69Vette you have U2U.
Cam,
What other insulation is there?
Not in a real hurry just while they are doing the stereo I thought that I could do the insulation at the same time. this would save so much extra work later.

I used a foil faced foam insulation in my beast. I'll bring a sample of it to Darling Harbour for ya.

Hey Cam, For what it's worth I think dynamat is tar lined (or a similar dense material to dampen noise and vibration).
Rusty, if you are prepared to buy outside of Australia, if you do a "global" search on ebay there is another brand of damping material where you can buy 100sq ft for less than the Aussie price mentioned in the link you refer to. ;42

I used dynamat in my 85 , did the job about a month ago.
I used 2 truck kits in the cabin floor & tunnel and another trunk kit in the boot space.
I also used a layer of house building insulation ( like heavy duty bublle wrap with allui foil either side.)
I have not done the doors yet but I plan to...
the whole job was a bit of a pain but it has made a great difference. the tunnel not longer gets hot, and it cuts out heaps of road noise.
I got mine on ebay also ....that stuff is expensive..

I used similar on my C3 - major difference. I glued/braced it on the underside of the floor while I had the g'box out.
