Can anyone tell me of a good spraypainter to paint a C3.

Hi  Michael,depends  where  you  live  and  how  much  you  want  to  spend,also  what  C3  you  have. Early  ones  like 70-72  have  eggcrate  grills  so  you  have  to  be  careful  how  they  do  them  eg.  painting  only  the  edges  and  not  the  hole  grill!  and  also  how  much  prep  your  prepared  to  do  yourself  can  save a  whole  bundle.    ;);););)

I live in the mid north coast area, but I realise id have probably use someone in sydney to get the job done right by someone who has experience with painting a 1968 model

Your roughly looking up to $7,000 for a full respray depending on what has to be done and what condition your car is in

Highly recomment AV Smash.. smaller business with owner long time into US cars.. has done 6 of mine over the last 8 or more years... and others in the Camaor -Firebird.org and more..

i also would reccomend alex (av smash ) he did my car
also we (camaro-firebird.org ) have just had a member move up to grafton (wazza) who owned a panel shop in kogarah and after seeing his car would reccomend him as well IF he is going to be doing any panel work up that way

Alex (AV SMASH REPAIRS) did some paint work on my camaro and will be painting my vet when i am ready highly recommened

I phoned AV this morning and email some pictures of the car and am waiting to hear back.
