went out this morning good role up of American and Aussie muscle, i guess around 60 cars.
Very relaxed and friendly saw COD out there with his very nice white 69 coupe but no other Vets about 15 Mustang,s handful of Camero,s good mixture and very good quality some very very nice machines out there.
No Photos you will have to go yourself.
COD the Mufflers you want are the Flowmaster 40,s they will give the rumble you are after think you can get them from Rocket Industry's at Huntingwood.

Looks like I'll have to arrive clothed - cause I've put in a sump pump which comes on when the water is 40mm deep in the footWELL. So! at the current rate of rain fall it should switch on approx every 4kms. (~ every 3mins or so ). Less when we get up into 100k zone.

What a good day! Must have been 80+ cars and (I didn't count) there must have been 10 ~ 12 Vettes. Great weather and to top it off a cool drink at Richmond A/base later. No doubts our resident clicker will post some nice pics later today.

Interest is growing for this event & I think there were more Corvettes in attendance than those cars that start with “M” so our Club plate registrar has agreed to allocate a club run number CE050 to be used for Club plate cars only for this run starting next year.
Next month following the coffee and donuts we’ll head to Luddenham for more Coffee and more discussion this time about how we can fix the state of NSW.

Thanks for a great morning myself and the young bloke thoroughly enjoyed our first outing with the gang from the Club.
Well the ChopTop must of had stage freight and decided to drop a support bracket off the drivers side exhaust and then coming in the 2 day old driveway of the new house the power steering let a seal go and dumped the oil all over the concrete. ( lucky it's a dark grey driveway ) mrs didn't see the funny side.
All good car but Vette will be off the road for the week. :tears:
It's safely back in the garage and looking forward in seeing you guys again in the new year.

Well they did not go to the Peppercorn - probably a good thing as there was 20+ trollies inc two early mustangs. That equates to at least 40++ inside the restaurant so service would have been slow if at all.

Our drive for Coffee and breakfast after the meet in Penrith will be to the Mountain Blue Café Glenbrook, been there before and the food was great, that's if any would like an extended run. :drivedevil:

Our usual suspects turned up with a couple of new vettes :thumb:. Word must be spreading, parking is at a premium if you arrive after 8:30
Coffee to Glenbrook afterwards was entertaining as the boys in blue had an RBT set up at the top of Lapstone hill. They managed to have 6 vettes in for a " Have you had any alcohol today and count to ten please Sir".
That’s twice in two Sundays for me and one other member who is now refusing to go on anymore runs with yours truly. :kickass:

Our morning run has been exposed fellas. :banghead:
At a recent breakfast get together, a comment was made regarding this run & our partners were “very” quick to discover the Coffee & Donuts run = Sunday markets, @ Penrith.
This will be costly, as none of us have ever ventured to the dark side of the car park before to see what’s on offer.
The optional 9:30 – 10:00 coffee/Breaky and chat afterwards is still on.
Post your attendance so we can select a location please.
Remember, it’s best to get there by 7.30 - 8:00 to have a parking spot in a group.

No no no! This is a "Men's Shed" or "Men's private Business" outing. Where we talk private men's car type trivia etc etc. The so-called "market" is not very good, would take a few minutes to peruse. Then they would annoy us to go to the next venue. I believe this same scenerio is what killed this outing the last time.

Try agin. Now - that camera you use must have very fast lens and shutter speed. It stops Ross's wheels and if the angle had been better you woul nearly see thru mine . Ummm, good pics.

Warren - last pic. You will have to either paint that one silver or get a silver, you both have white shirts and white caps - it's like looking at a "mini me" or a mini roscoe.

It's hard to find someone else with such impeccable taste in vehicles clothes and friends, well some of you buggers I suspect.

The guy being rather new to all this doesn't want the event closed down by police like it was in Clontarf. I believe his notice is going off those on facebook that clicked 'going' but facebook numbers are very inaccurate when it comes to events.
My band get 200 or so people from around the world saying they're going to our pub gig at Leichhardt and 70 turn up, many of which didn't click 'going' on facebook. Often people just say they're going as a courtesy so it's not wise of him to turn people away just yet, keeping in mind the Penrith event.
Of course with the success of Cavallino's he may get more of the Euro car crowd but policing the event to those that replied on facebook will be impossible; it'll have to be first in best dressed.

I did expect that Cavallino,s would go the direction it did in the end, parking was horrible at best and the residence around there were not going to put up with this so I gather a bit of pressure was applied in the right direction. To be honest I thought the euro,s would go under ground to another location,it was getting way to large for what they had set up for themselves.
Penrith on the other hand has just got better and better very good parking supported by the local establishments and to date I have only seen two HWP and they were getting coffee at Krispy,s.
It's taken 12 months for this event to get to the size it has and have not even seen any problems and really don't expect to see any it's the type of crowd it attracts.
I support the creation of the new location for macchiato one of the better locations around, good parking in a delightful area, it's how he markets this that will give it the success it needs, going head to head with penrith and now before it even starts is limiting places and post,s Now Full capacity on their facebook page?... Really

Yeah, I think he's being optimistic and for the moment it's suck it and see. I did mention to him the Penrith event and he replied he could only work with the dates given to him for September and October; he will look into changing dates for the following months if the numbers are low.
If it is does go to full capacity; the more the merrier I guess and being in Leichhardt, I do envision more Italian/Euro cars due to the demographic of that area so it'll be horses for courses.

Sorry guys, since "B" finished Uni for this year, we have booked for the restaurant at Brewrowa waters, and don't bother I know its not spelt right. Its spelling will not effect the taste of the food.

I’ve reserved a 10:00 start with Luddenham raceway & we need to be there at 9:30. If you’ve been there before bring the karting license and balaclava that was issued to you last time, if not, we needs to get you registered.
Registration is $10 & includes a balaclava you get to keep for next time + $30 for a 10 min session; we may have a couple if there’s enough interest.
Some have asked if their teenagers can join in. Yep, but you will need to sign extra paperwork for them.
One thing, if you just turn up without having your name on the list, you may have to wait for another session. Sorry but Sunday is a busy day for them and they won’t fit you in our group if there’s no places.
