Title: HEADERS AND SIDE PIPES
Post by: gumby66 on September 25, 2010, 07:06:37 AM
I have a 1977  350 4 speed vette and Im trying to find out what changes a set of headers and side pipes will make to the perfomance of the car besides look and sound???

Any suggestions/opinions on whether there a good investment or not, and where to get a good set from would also be appreciated

They wouldnt make much or any performance advantage, its mainly for looks and sound! Also just remember that sidepipes were not standard on that year and potentially a smart ass authoritarian could make you take them off and your db levels will go past legal level of 95db. BUT they are very cool!:drag:
