General Chat / TPMS - tyre monitors
Last post by Vettech - March 05, 2026, 04:42:19 PMI was wondering if members have bought a Tyre Pressure Monitor System (TPMS)
My 17 Mustang of course comes with std OEM electronic monitor and it was an option from 90 onwards on Vettes but alas not on mine, also no adj suspension either, whilst the wiring is in place for the suspension there is nought for TPMS.
The original device strapped around the wheel inside the tyre and connected via radio to a reciever. This is the same format used by todays AM units but now for ease of fitment the sender screws onto the tyres valve stem and operate at 433 Meg thru to 2.4 Gig.
My questions are:
1. What brand, how much, ease of operation, did they work ok.
Because of space I've looked at the smaller cigar plug type, also the senders that screw on & seal & lock, anyone with experience with these please advise your thoughts.

Last post by Vettech - March 05, 2026, 12:49:10 PMATTENTION now I would have made the font bigger, but I can't see how to do that
Especially since PeterP has upgraded our web site.
You will notice:
Different layout.
Different colours.
More stuff.
Easier (?) Ways to add Youtubes - well thats PeterP's words, I don't know what a you tube is.
Any issues please send to PeterP or put up here and somebody will sort it

NSW Corvette Club Runs, Events & Notices / Re: New monthly meeting Venue
Last post by Vettech - March 05, 2026, 12:39:32 PMMembers please be advised that our last meeting (tues 3/3/26) was at the new venue.
Some updates the venue is the "Edmondson Tavern"
Located on Camden Valley Way. But
Entry via Kibby Rd.
Click here for a Google Map
I discovered also that along with secure off street parking there is available under cover parking with lift access under the building.
The staff and hotel team could not do enough for us - they were very helpfull.
The building etc are virtually brand new, clean and tidy.
