News from RMS regarding the Log Book Scheme
Historic and classic car enthusiasts will have more opportunities to hit the road outside club events thanks to the Liberal & Nationals Government making log books a permanent feature this week.
Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Paul Toole said 50,000 cars had participated in the log book scheme during its trial period.
“We know owners of these cars want to be able to take them out for a spin and share their love of these cars with others - that’s why we’ve made it easier for them to keep track of how often they drive them,” Mr Toole said.

Now if RMS can organise a Vic style log book instead of a piece of paper that would be great
-
I believe our guys are using the little yellow log books available from any news agent.
I think they are the same ones used for TAX / Company Car use.
Under $10 a book - lasts for ever.
If I'm wrong - I have no doubt Jorge will correct me.
Regards.

RMS gave me a printed sheet of A4 paper that is the official log book to be filled in

The yellow log book is to register club runs only and to prove that you have attended the minimum 3 club runs per year the RMS log sheet is for private runs
Hope this helps

In the age of the internet knows all .
Why is there not a system you log onto and fill in the data before you venture out on the road you can even do it the day before. if their system is good enough.
When bluey wants to know if you are legally out on the road, its all there on there computer.
no stuffing up your day and wasting every bodies time.
and what is the problem with that, it cost money , you know the 41.9 cents of every litre you put in the car. Plus the GST.
