Title: C3 Headlights
Post by: Wono23 on February 11, 2017, 07:27:39 PM
Hi,

I had a problem with my headlights where both low beam was working but when put to high beam, the right low beam stops working. I went to change the globe but I was not able to.  I have to replace the whole headlight. (I'm trying to upload the picture from my iPhone but it doesn't seem to be coming through).

Standard lights are sealed beams. Do yourself a favour and buy a set of quality H4 compatible lenses. You then have options for wattage. You should also fit relays as standard C3 has full current through the headlight and dipper switch which makes both prone to failure and nearly always has big voltage drop.
Changing the light is simple. With the lights up remove the surround then 3 screws hold the retaining ring.
