Title: CONVERT MANUAL TO AUTO T700
Post by: L71 on December 18, 2006, 07:26:03 PM
Has anyone out there put a t700 into a c3 , I’m sure there’s a kit out there somewhere seen it in a heap of mags but forgot where  & couldn’t be bothered going through hundreds of Vette mags.  The fitting up of the box isn’t the issue its all the rest of it, want to ditch the Muncie & go drag shift , also making the cross member removable for ease of working on , John 0407 012359

I have a shifter kit from Ecklers in the States that is surplus to my needs.

Brand new, make an offer.

I should add;
Besides the "shift conversion" kit from Ecklers which has the detent plate, cable hardware and indicator plate. I have the shift lever and all associated brackets etc.

I am changing my auto to manual.

Also available is new B&M auto drive plate, new B&M hi-stall converter and original 3 speed trans with B&M shift lit installed.

All of the above never installed.

Any half decent welder could mod the existing trans mount to suit.
Get driveshaft shorterned ,
Late 4 spd ,T350, T700, yokes the same.
