SOLD restored 1980 Vette for sale SOLD
« on: October 04, 2013, 09:35:12 PM »
Putting this up for a mate of a mate! He didnt give me a price or number? I will get it!

1980 Corvette

Ground up nut and bolt bare chassis five year restoration by leading Corvette expert Greg Morris.

This car looks stock but far from it, the car is engineered and built to a right hand drive configuration and is powered by engine number 80 of a limited 250 production of the 383 cubic inch Edelbrock Signature Series engine dyno tested and certified to 460 HP. This is backed by a 350 turbo hydro transmision and new beefed up power converter to handle the increased power.

Everything in the restoration is either new , rebuilt or refurbished. Nothing has been left to chance and no shortcuts taken.

This car is better than brand new. It looks drives and smells like new. Red with new doe skin coloured interior, it comes with two sets of "T" tops one colour matched and the other smoked glass. Brand new Corvette radio and power antenae and polished factory wheels set it off nicely.

Here is a list of mods to the Corvette
1 - Convert to RHD, then totally dissasemble the Corvette, send the body to the paint shop and then sand blast and powder coat chassis and suspension parts
2 - Install to chassis new suspension parts including F & R bushes, ball joints upper & lower, F & R shocks and serviced diff assembly.
3 - Install complete new brake system (Calipers, rotors, M/cyl, rubber hoses and pads ect)
4 - Fit Edelbrock engine
5 - Fit BMS rebuilt trans & new converter to handle the increased power
6 - Fit new radiator
7 - Fit new fuel tank
8 - Supply & polish factory alloy wheels & fit new tyres
9 - Supply & fit new F & R bumper bars
10 - Refit newly painted body to the chassis
11 - Fit new saddle interior & stereo system & power antenna
12 - Fit all new vaccum hoses and headlight actuators
13 - Supply 2 sets of T Tops. 1 set painted & 1 set glass
14 - Fit all new weather strips, emblems & new side marker and tail light lenses
15 - Fit new A/C condensor, receiver dryer and numerous other A/C parts.
16 - Rewire the entire car
17 - Have Corvette engineered & registered.

This is a list of the bigger items of the restoration not to mention the 100's & 100's of hours labour and all the little things (nuts & bolts, switches, wheel alignment ect ect)

I doubt that you will find a nicer 1980 Corvette in Australia.

Payment in cleared funds prior to collection from Wamberal NSW.

Call Peter  02 43675783  asking $50 000.

This is one sweet C3 ride.. it definitely has to be one of, if not the best in Australia, for sure... I was looking at this car earlier in the piece before buying my toy... whilst beautiful and i can see a lot of money & time has been invested on here, I personally couldn't part with that kind of money for a 1980 vette.. but shes beautiful and who ever buys this will definitely be enjoying a trouble free car !!

I sure am. And pretty happy at that. Only a couple of little thing's which need to be tidied up (only in my very fussy little world) then plan to drive and enjoy.
