Man Creates 8.9 Liter V12 LS Engine

(1/2) > >>

Camo:
Just in from gtc. From the pages of http://www.corvetteforum.com ....

"Anyone who has fallen in love with the corvette in the past twenty years should have pretty solid love of the LS series motor. It (and it's many variations) have been at the heart of the 'vette since the C5. It's great, obviously... But what if it was a v12?
Forum member V12Baker on LS1Tech took two LS blocks, chopped them up, and basically welded them together. The same goes for the crank and for the cams. The result is this: the LSV12. It displaces some 8.9 liters and, evidently, makes enough power to power a 3/4 scale P-51 Mustang. This particular build is going into a 240z. I don't know about you, but that sounds like a fun little car.
Of course, this got me thinking about how good it would be sitting in the bay of a Corvette. The prospect of Viper hunting with a V12 Vette just sounds too good ignore. What do you think? "

It would make an interesting transplant in a C3
No much room for the radiator though.
I would give it a try
