Yeah I.m kinda blown away. Theirs so many fake cars out there now. I knocked back another car as it had nothing to back it up. After talking to the guy for a month he suddenly finds a protector plate
Their even forging those now
So getting the info from the first owner is gold
He told me it was nearly a grand for the alloy heads option thats why he ditched the luver trims and the side pipes. That was big coin in 69
His original order came to $6,400 less his $100 deposit
I.ll have 2 please. Lol

I recieved another email
He was given the L89 as a gift from his parents for graduating from UCLA ' i magine that ur parents telling you to go to the dealer and order whatever car u want, he probably tried to get a L88and was told u couldnt get one ,he was 23 at the time ,mainly used for zooming around the streets as he says, he did drive it across the states from LA to Upstate NY, he said it was always a hassle trying to keep it in tune, he got married pretty soon after and didnt have the time bringing up a family,
When he parked it up it still had its original tripower on it , and alternator, dizzy etc, he changed the waterpump to a alloy high flow and a fan with more blades of the aircond wreck he took parts off to get it running cooler in LA,
He found the original jack and workshop manuals he got with the car , so i,ll nab them
