Well the car should be here on the 20th of October.  It has been a painstakingly long process,  The customs broker indicated that it will take two days to get it off the docks.  I might  get it towed to SMS in and get the blue slip done.  I will have a talk to the guys there and see what they can do for me. As it was built in 71, I am only planning to change the headlights over, get the RHS  mirror put on (travelling with the car) and whatever else is required to get it to the minimum standard for registration.  I will do the seat belts and blinkers at a later date. I will give Tony a ring with regard to towing the car to Padstow and then Windsor.  If anyone feels there is anything else I need to consider please post a reply.  Looking forward to cruising with you guys and girls.

Saw it for the first time today.  It finally arrived.  Still haven't got it home yet as the guys at SMS performance are doing the inspections for blue slip etc.  My luck getting the car to them while they are in the middle of moving workshops.  Love the car. Cant wait to pick it up. Longest process in history.  Bought the car 11 may and saw it today 26 October.  Might do it different next time (don't tell the wife I said that).  Will post some pics and provide a run down of importation costs if anyone is interested as soon as I get a bit of time.

Hello Guys,

A few months ago if i recall, we had a guest speaker come in from the Caringbah/Sutherland area, who imports all cars from the states to gives a run down and some costs.  I didnt get his number and would like to call him on some prices and details. Would someone have that info please post it on here.

Thanks
