Hey I got a question for you..

I was looking at your modified speedo drive, how did you shorten it, I see heat marks, cut and tig?

I bored the threaded section out to 0.625" Dia
then parted it off.

Then machined the OD of remainder to accept the threaded part with 0.001 clearance  and leaving a shoulder  of 0.236" (6mm)

I silvered solders the two together
using no. 2 flux and 55% silver solder.


I can do you a drawing if you are not sure of what I have described
