Australian Dollar

StephenSLR:
Yeah the fluctuating AUD has caused me grief.  I sent over an amount for a car (non-Corvette).  It was floating around 1.04 USD and it took a brief nose dive, I sent at the 0.97 mark, it fell further and then bounced right back a week later.

If I'd sent it 2 weeks either way I'd have ~$1,500 AUD more in my hand today.

Interesting reading
and there is some likely hood that we will do better that the rest of the world

However
stand back and take the view of doing better,
it depend on your  point of view.

If  we only stagnate while the rest of the world  goes  in to recession.

Now we can make the numbers look s--t hot for australia
but are we really going to do OK.

Our Government is taking a view to cut spending
that usually means that tax's will go up in the not to distant future.

Not mater what they say.

just look at how they are all treating Craig Thomson
no mater what he  is accused of
that is not they way to treat another human
would any one expect them to treat us any better.

what ever happens it will not be good for the general population of australia.

You will notice that not to many politicians look like they go hungry.
As more and more people go to the streets to live.

Not to many of them have any compassion  for any one other that them selves
A few independents are the exception.

You mite get that,
I do not have a good opinion of our government or the opposition.
neither
could not run a bordello
never mind  make it profitable
