6-1/2 weeks from the day I transfered the funds, to arrival at my house.

That's pretty good going.

Hi guys
New to this forum, but not new to corvettes.
Can anyone recommend an electroplater in Sydney who can do a decent job on bumpers, at a fair price and won't take months ?
Cheers
Dave

Hamilton Chrome in Newcastle (02) 4961-1033
I have tried all the one's in Sydney and have not been happy. I have found Hamilton Chrome to be quick (2 weeks) quote up front and they stick to their quote and I have always been happy with the quality :drunk:

+1 for Hamilton Chrome, my son has had lots done there. :ado:

Ask many questions to get a feel for what they're doing and if you want a good job you have to pay accordingly. Triple chrome sure does look good when done right.

I've never had to get anything rechromed before, so this is a first for me.
Thanks for the advice, I'll definately talk to both of them first.

Nice Midyear - good choice.

Nice Midyear - good choice.

Thanks.
I'm just starting to sort the bugs out.
I fixed the horn this morning (just dirty, coroded contacts) now the main issue is the brakes.
The pedal goes to the floor, but pumps up hard, so air somewhere or the MC is stuffed.
It also pulls to the right, so possibly a leak, a bad hose, or the LH caliper is stuffed.
This afternoons job.

Start a new thread on this car.  I'm keen to follow it all.

A shame this forum doesn't have a 'Members cars' sub-forum.
