Yep,you're right. The Perentti was a kit car put onto an HQ.
I contemplated one when I was a kid because the C3's were about twenty/thirty thousand and the kit was something like three thou.
Only thing was, the Perentti was longer and looked a bit odd.

I just googled images of them. They had one in Mad Max (latest,I guess).

I stand corrected, I just read on Shannon's that a bloke paid twenty two thousand for his kit.....new.

Whatever happened to kit cars? There were quite a few companies making them in the past, sure, they were as dodgy as the builder, you got what you paid for but is anyone making them these days?
