Advice required.

Pretty much bog standard.
It was imported to qld in 08.
I need to sell and have a buyer interested in NSW.
I have all the import docs ,receipts.
it has qld rego and compliance plate
lap over diag belts etc.
Where can i take it to get blue slipped.
Prospective buyer is in camden
Get NO sense out of RTA but why is that a surprise.

Blue Slip Inspections are done by an AUVIS. That is Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Station. I'm sure there used to be a list of AUVIS's on the RTA web site, but can't find it now.
Might like to try Scherer Motor Repairs, South Camden, 02 4655 8465. Found these guys by Googling AUVIS Camden.

Seeing as it has been previously registered in Australia shouldnt be any different to doing a rego transfer on an Australian deliverd car. Ask RTA about interstate rego transfer dont confuse them by telling them it is a corvette. I would say blue slip, maybee weigh bridge ticket, pay your money.

If you are selling you would need to satisfy your states (QLD) requirements. It would be the buyers responsibility to change the rego over to NSW.

I agree with sirfixalot
don't muddy  the waters
do the blue slip and see if you can slip it through the system.
if it been registered  you  may get there
don't be afraid to argue  your  point
