Wasn't the track in financial difficulties just recently and might be closing?

Vette Obsessed:
It's having ongoing difficulties.  Basically, local politicians gave long term rights to a corporation that is bringing in all sorts of regulations and fees to cover a massive capital investment (much of it from the government).

Think Jim Read and WSID on a bigger scale.
