Reklaw:
So, I was sitting in this waiting room today, with nothing to do but read the latest copy of Just Cars.

Mmmm..... I thought, there seems to be few 'Vettes for sale at the moment, so I counted them. By year model, it went like this.

'68        5 of
'69        1 of
'70        4 of
'71        3 of
'72        5 of

I can remember the days when, and it wasn't that long ago, there might be 3 or 4 'Vettes for sale. Now there's 68 of them on the market, just in this magazine, right here in Oz.

So. if you've wondered why the value of your 'Vette, particularly a C3, has fallen lately, this could be the reason why.

I get the impression that boatloads of them are being brought in on the back of the weak greenback and many Americans doing it tough, being out of work, etc.

I also see online ads by Oz importers for C3s that appear to be still in the USA.

I guess that many of these C3s would be in the category of "20 footers" -- i.e. they look okay from 20 feet away.

Scott:
Count how many of those cars have 'import approval' and have never been registered in aus...
Cheap nasty imports for a quick buck.
