Hi everyone, i have a 69 vette an im in the process of replacing the speedo cable.would like some advice on the connection at the gauge, am i missing something ? the end of cable appears to just slip over the housing it has a plastic end ( cant see the std retaining clips advertised fitting) Any feedback most welcome:huh:

It is a spring clip Ecklers P/N 46461

I assume that is the part you are missing it holds cable onto back of speedo
