i still have not given my visa details to my engine guy as yet.

I was intending to tonight before the budget effect hit our stock exchange tommorow. Which is supposed to ease our dollar down to parity with the almighty greenback.

but im thinking about hanging a little longer after hearing news that it could go to $1.47.

If you're playing the daily exchange rate game looking for peaks, then you can be affected positively or negatively if the supplier delays debiting your card until just prior to shipment time, as some do if they are out of stock, etc.

I would have expected our dollar to start going the other way vs the greenback with Reserve Bank involvement because of the effect on our exports, but the latest balance of trade figures show a surplus on the back of a boom in exports despite the situation, so who knows what the exchange rate will peak at.
It's C3 chromie for me, see? Si!
