(1/2) > >>

Gray-man:
Hi and Merry Christmas everyone I am about to replace the uni joints on my half shafts on my 74 and would like to grease the rear wheel bearings while I'm at it,has anyone used or know of the tool available to do this without dismantling the trailing arms, where to get one in OZ or any info at all would be greatly appreciated.

sirfixalot:
I have the dummy shaft for bearing set up & also have a puller to remove & replace axle in car.

Gray-man:
Thank for the replies,Sirfixalot have you used these tools and greased the bearings, is it dificult, I was told it was a job for an expert and very expensive  .72 vette that was the gizmo I have seen and was hoping to get some feed back from somone who has used one as some say it will only get grease to the inner bearing and if so seems a waste of time. The use of it is mentioned in my genuine GM workshop manual so who knows?

sirfixalot:
Hi Gray-man
I dont have that tool I have removed axle cleaned & regreased bearings on the car.The trick is to get the outer seal back into the hub.The half shaft, & flange plate have to be removed from inside of hub, which you would have to remove anyway to use that tool.
