I see project vettes on ebay reguarly, most often they are fresh imports that need a full rebuild and a fortune spent.
I'm curious what people would generally consider an average fair price for my vette considering:
All parts are there but partially dissmantled (all bagged and labeled).
Running and drivable at moment as driveline is still in car.
In the middle of respray. The bulk of it's done. Just needs finishing.
It's had full front and rear suspension rebuild including shocks (only needs springs to finish.
Brakes have been rebuilt.
Vacuum system hoses all replaced and 3 new actuators
Lots of new chrome (bezels, rechromed bumpers, license surround, emblems etc) and many many other new parts to go with car like new grills, light lenses, bellhousing sitting there, new carpet, new weatherstripping, dynamat extreme bulk pack to go under carpet, new shift console and some other small interior pieces, plus several hundred other misc items all brand new sitting there.
I have some vanity plates also for a victorian buyer, reg: STNRAY which would go with the car and have to be worth something.
I'm only thinking in the back of my head about moving it on, reasons being that I simply dont have the time or money to finish it. Time being the biggest thing as most of the major hurdles on the car have been tackled. I've lost my job and I know that I'm looking for a new one as of next week and my back up plan has fallen out also.
So if it was to happen sale is still an idea in the back of my mind as something that may have to happen but not by choice as this is my dream car.
I know how much I have invested and I know that I wouldn't be seeing that again, but I am curious what would be a fair price to ask according to the experts here.
