VETTENUT:
This Saturday folks.:pepper::pepper:

Don't forget to bring your AASA or CAMS licence if you have one, to avoid having to pay for another one on the day, as well as your helmet and protective clothing.
We will be getting as much of the paperwork and scrutineering done as possible at Trappers Motel at Goulburn on Friday afternoon 12th, to minimise the amount required to be done at Wakefield on Saturday morning, and to maximise our track time.
Weather forecast for Goulburn is 29degrees, 98%chance of no rain, but possible late thunderstorm.
Thunder heard early in the day is more likely to be Corvettes!!!:drag::drag::drag:

VETTENUT:
Well another year's event has been run and won, and thanks to the incredible support we received from some of our members and their partners, this year's Leadfoot Challenge was a fantastic success. The weather gods assisted with a clear warm day, defying predictions of storms, and everyone had plenty of laps of the Wakefield Park circuit near Goulburn. Despite other predictions including Corvettes of Melbourne retaining the Leadfoot trophy, which has been contested by NSW, Melbourne and Canberra Corvette clubs since 2000, and big block rats ruling the day, I have to announce the following:
-NSW Corvettes won the day and brought home the trophy we last held in 2007.
-big block rats were not seen for dust; some of this was their own as they spun off the track LOL :rol:.

Click the Picture for some more.

-small block mice ruled.:drag:
-quickest Vette was the red C5 ZO6 driven by our own Shane Finn.
The weekend started with a get together over an ale or two at our motel in Goulburn on Friday afternoon, and finished with a presentation dinner at the same place on Saturday night, with many old friendships renewed.
Again to everyone who pitched and helped to make this a fabulous day, sincere thanks and I look forward to defending our title at Winton this time next year :ado::beer:

Just thought Id ask in advance.

I had lots of fun! even though the miss's will never talk to me again:club:  I reckon I was doing about 200ks when I spun? also I'm adamant that my spin off was caused predominately by the Falcon that spewd petrol all over the track for at least 3 laps worth the race before because that lap session was really slippery all the way around! I'm sure the video will be youtubed as soon as the videographer that shot it edits it!
