I was saddened and shocked to learn that Bob Evans passed away on December 3 from cancer of the oesophagus.
Members will recall that Bob won
Car of the Show at Bella Vista in 2009 (see photos below).
Although Bob was not a Club member, he was well known in car show circles for his award winning Vette and GTHO Phase 2.
Bob was a very close friend and associate of the owners Detroit Custom Bodyworks at Arncliffe and he spent many of his retirement hours in their workshop, hence the dedication notice and trophy named in his memory.
Farewell Bob. Rest in Peace.
