How to Post NON YouTube Video Into Torque Tube
« on: November 09, 2009, 06:02:53 PM »
Now you have your YouTube button, here is how you embed videos that are NOT on YouTube.  All NON YouTube Videos can only be posted in the Torque Tube Section

Some video sites allow embedding of videos, an example is Street-Fire (Photo-Bucket is not one of them)

Definition:-
{embedding = "To allow video to be viewed live on another site."}

What Do I Do

1) Go to the page that your Video is on. For example this one:-
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/1969-Chevrolet-Corvette_707839.htm

2) Just to the right of the  video you will find the word "Embed" next to it there is a text field with a bunch of code in it.

3) Left click on this coding, It will all turn blue. Now right click the blue coloured coding and then left click copy. The code has now been copied to your computer.

4) Now come to your forum here, "Torque Tube", and start a new thread as you would normally do.

5) Type your message e.g. "1969 Chevrolet Corvette Supercharged Rolling Burnout"

6) Press return (Enter) on your keyboard to move to a new line, then simply right click and "Paste."

7) All the video coding should now be copied into your message. If you want the Video to be in the middle of the screen, use the align=center tags.

Code: [Select]
Video Embed Code

8) Your done. Now just post your message as usual

All videos to be of suitable content. Any Videos that contain foul language or unsuitable content will be removed. Just treat them as you would a picture that your going to post
