Jim
if you only have the body
it may be financially better to buy a complete car  damaged  to salvage the parts you need.

Mate no luck with finding the vehicle i mentioned
Any way get on ebay  USA and look for corvette protects
see what you can find you can get good value their if you are patient

" Remember this "
Believe  nothing that you are told  when buying in the USA

A lot of  flippers will call a turd a chandelier if they think you will buy it

If it looks good its most likely sh_t
if is looks Sh_t its most likely junk.
don't go by cost of anything  that will bring you down.
polished Sh_t can have a high price be careful

IF YOU THINK SOMETHING IS WORTH BUYING
PAY SOME ONE TO HAVE A LOOK AT IT FOR YOU
Money well spent

Gee
I hope that language is not to colorful
I had a lot of other nouns and adjectives in mind that I mite have used.
But I think this could  be  a  PG rated family forum.

Jim back again
look at this one in canada
http://cgi.ebay.ca/Chevrolet-Corvette-/320694459417?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4aaae11c19
see where the price  ends up
looks good  has had a lot of work done
? why
check out the photos of the exhaust
it tells a lot
see that problems in the chassis above where the exhaust goes through  and the floor  bracing  behind in in the photo
and that is in a photo that they are showing every one
I find it interesting to watch what comes up for a few months
as well as who is selling them.
record everything

oh look as much as possible in the drier states

no  states that have snow and ice  you know what they put on the roads  when there is ice  about
( SALT )
wonderful for the chassis

Jim
There is a possibility of a chassis

I am looking at modifying my chassis to take a C4  Rears suspension
IF I can not get that  sorted  with out .
I will buy a Streetshop chassis from the states
and I too have a  number of parts to find.
( Doesn't every one )

Their area lot of people on here who will help with  info.
I have found that since I joined this forum

Yes
I agree Jethro  it  will sell for a lot more
form the over all   photos it look good
I am extremely skeptical  when it comes to buy  a car.
How ever I always  ask
Why all the new work?
ask all the question before making a decision

Freight On chassis
the last quote I got was $1500.00 plus customs. duty and gst
I thing  that is very optimistic though
plus cost to get it to a Western USA   departure  point
