Finally got there!!!

Well, the day finally came, but not without it's problems.  An inspection at the pits, an appointment with an engineer then a meeting with the head RTA inspector and we're there... LUCRF has new markings



The only reason I had to get it engineered was because the inspectors said, "love the suspension, looks great but because it's been so modified, off you go" :flower

Anyway, the engineer said that it was the best handling vet he has driven in 25 years ;35 and had no problems signing off.

Oh and just thought I'd add, lap belts for a 69 convertible CAN be done, the way to get around it is.......standard fitment was a lap belt and the lap/sash was an OPTION - RPO A85 of which 600 units were fitted.  Thats my story and I'm sticking to it. ;mmm (there is documentation available to justify this - just)

If anyone needs detailed help in getting over the line with RTA, just let me know. :22

Thanks guys.  I'll be getting some better ones this weekend, so bear with me, got to adjust the ride height down a bit ;)
