At the Wakefield day I noticed that a few of the Vettes there were running Michelin Pilot Sports. Since I will have to change tires at some stage I was interested in how people found them. They seem to get good reports from US drivers.

What would you compare them to?

The guys really like there grip over here, but I just bought a set of Goodyear F1 GS D3 's that are the best ever. Great grip, very sticky and super in the rain. Have been told they are not to good in the snow but I won't drive the GS in the snow anyhow . The tread design is wild and I get many comments about them. very agressive tires off the line....;laugh

The G3's are rated best over all of tires that were tested, the mich. sports were right up there close.  The F1 SC's are on the newer cars but  the GS's are the next thing out I believe.  Not Cheap but worth it I think;29

www.tirerack.com is a good site that lists tyres suitable for most vehicles. Unfortunately the GS D3s are not available in Z06 sizes.:bold
