Priscillas Suspension Mods

<< < (3/3)

WARFARIN:
Cam,
Sorry about the delay. Mine came with a front end dual mount fiberglass transverse spring conversion. That said I'm sure these were available for coil sprung vettes. I think they have super lightweight aluminium [aluminum] versions available now?
The upper A-arms from VB&P are tubular. The upper mount/spindle is off-set for camber and castor as well. It's a total solution. You can't mess around with one without consideration of the other!
As mine is still in the shed, I can't profess any "road" experience. I think 69 Dirty Rat is running VB&P??
Wait Wait Wait.... Chromie will be here in a minute!!!!
Cheers
David

Sorry my bad.  In my earlier post I said that VB&P only had tubular lowers, I meant to say uppers.  They don't have the tubular lowers and I wanted up and lower to be the same brand.

The lowers were my main concern as I wanted more clearance from the steering rack, which the tubular construction has given me.  The uppers were just an added bonus.

I'll be posting some suspension finished shots later this weekend.

Just waiting on some new brake lines to the two boosters and finish the new larger main lines to and from the front vacuum tank.  Back on the road Tuesday all going well.
