Yes, but.....
Brutus:
Well after speaking to an engine builder this morning I'm going to go with a 383 stroker for my planned 350 engine rebuild. It appears that with the way we intend to go and with some of the parts I already have that we'll be looking at just over 400hp and well over the same figure in torque. I think that should put a smile back on my dial.:22
The one downside is that I'll have to sell most of the parts I've been gathering from the States over the years as my original intention was to just go with a 355 rebuild.
If anyone's interested in some brand new name engine parts just let me know.
Let the fun begin.:22

Brutus, why don't you post in inventory of what you're selling in the "Sale" section of this forum and see what response you get?

And here's me just gone and bought a C4! Probably just as well.

Hi Brutus,
A stroker sounds great, been thinking of doing one myself!! Check out HPBooks "Small-Block Chevy PERFORMANCE TRENDS" Some good tips in that, like mods required to the block to clear the crankshaft and conrods etc. It does not seem too difficult. Good luck with it Big Guy!!:evil

A....I'll do that for sure as soon as I work out which bits I'm gonna keep and which ones are no longer required. One thing tho is that I will only want what I paid for them and considering I bought them in the States and paid US prices and not ours then they will be comparatively cheap indeeed.
