New Vette

demonx:
Most of you guys that I speak to probably already know this is a delayed post - but I thought I'd finally announce my new car:

1970 Roadster 350ci/350hp
4 speed muncie with hurst
18" Torq Thrust II wearing Bridgestone 245/45/18
Hooker side pipes (sitting there ready for after I get it on the road!)

Overall its "ok" but needs a lot of work. All the usual vacuum issues and everyting else needs to be lubed up so it moves like it once did. Needs a new starter motor and a few other minor issues.

Interior will be totally replaced over time so if anyones looking for some "ok" and some "good" condition interior stuff put your name down!

I've already removed the luggage rack - Anyone want one?

I'm in the process of redoing the complete suspension and brakes. Pretty much everything under the car is getting done or replaced. Should drive better than it looks.

I've got original style mirrors sitting there to replace these uglies - bu it's been painted around the huge mirrow mounts. So I have to wait till it gets painted to install the new mirrors! I'm considering a respray in Ferrari red!

At the moment it's loud as a mofo as there is no mufflers, only a couple of large hotdogs in the rear! I'm guessing I wouldn't get far before being pulled over!

Heres a couple of mobile phone pics.

Ditto!

I can't complain. I'm only 30 and I'm on my second Corvette.

If you had have said that to me in my early 20's I'd have thought you insane!

Are those American Racing wheels?
