Cam,what boost are you looking for? presume you are chasing 600+engine hp and 480rwhp......what sort or torque curve will that give you?....obviously lots, but how flat and from what rpm?;41;41;41;35...john

.........and how long is a piece of string? ;53. Haven't got those results yet. Still chasing data and crunching numbers.
Not a lot of boost only around 5-8 pounds. Not after that much HP. Haven't dinoed the beast yet but should have about the 400HP at the flywheel now. Just want to have that little bit more of an edge and that little something different. It's only a small under bonnet blower. Fitting it under the bonnet is the challenge, and I like a challenge. ;42

Cam,getting enough cool air to it on inlet side will surely be an issue for you...not much room there!!!....getting the increased heat out will also be fun!;35;35;35then once it all goes;46;46;46...how will you control it all at 6500rpm.....will need belt tensioners for when you snap the throttle shut...also wont you have to remap the fuel and ignition for the higer rpm boost?.....lots of tricky issues!....john

Tell me about it. Hence electronic injection and new ignition system. There is all the problems to do with throttle cables, belts, Radiator, etc, etc as well.
Have to do it all on paper first to see what it will cost vs what I get out of it. Not going to spend big bucks for 5/8's of bugger all power increase.
If the numbers do not pan out I might just go for the injection and ignition.
Just playing with it at the present. I like to do all my numbers first before I jump into the deep end.

How were you planning to lower the static compression into the acceptable range?;47..john

Let ya know when we finish all our number crunching
