when I bought my 69 back I didnt have to compliance it apart from getting a blue slip, which means just a thorough check over, change the blinkers to orange, dip the headlights to the left (they are to the right now),and a wheel spin out the RTA!(all in one day).Cars thirty years or older you dont have to change to right hand drive!you would be mad to do this!Plus it would cost you an extra 10-15 grand to swap over.Especially when you are used to driving it left hand. The wheels shouldnt be a problem unless theyre sticking out from the guards, you would probably get them approved while your doing the blue slip.Get some rally wheels on it for the beginning then you have 2 sets of wheels, for different shows or like me I have some spare rallys with old tyres for donuts & drags!!.Rallys are cheap there ,go to a swap meet.I got 4x wheels(real ones)dress rims(not original) & steel (real) caps for $350US(all new!).
