Thinking about getting a\'73

they look good, go good [provided you find a decent one], have few electronics, and they don' t need to be complianced much (if at all :D).
The one thing only that I think i will need to compliance is the tail lights. Is it possible to pick up some amber indicator lights for the indicators back in australia? Cause I havn't been able to find any information @ corvette action center. Any help is appreciated :)

Nik...you may get away with keeping the original lenses on the rear as I've seen some of our members who still have them without having gone to the amber ones.
On the issue of sidepipes, I'll be putting them on my 77 shortly. I imported a set of Hooker extractors and will have the pipes made up to suit. I would suggest having them fitted before bringing the car over here ... saves on duty etc.

Yes you can get orange globes,I have converted the reverse lights into the blinkers with orange globes. So it still looks original. The other thing youre supposed to have to convert is the headlight beams, you have to change them to dip to the left instead of to the right.but I managed not to do it and got away with it!GET a big block!!!!!

Nik....agree with all the other vettesters,73's are great, I miss my chrome bumpers, get the side pipes in the u.s. and try and find a nice driver, good paint had lots of TLC, doing it over here is costly.......................good luck ;);););)
