Cruise control

(1/1)

RHT:
My 78 appear to have all the cruise control hardware installed except the linkage to the carby.
Do the cruise control systems on C3's work well?
If you have a setup that works, do you use it?
Just thought I'd ask a couple of questions before taking the steps towards either setting it up properly or focusing on something else to work on.

Thanks for reading

Have it on my beast.  No complaints.  The major thing is that all your vacuum lines are in good order and you have no leaks.

Corvette "Cruise Master" Cruise Control Diagnostics

"The Cruise on my 80 never worked from the day I bought it. It turned out that the transducer was the culprit. It was a totally lost cause, since the insides had just chewed themselves to bits and been removed by the previous owner. I know these can be bought "reconditioned" from the US, but being in the UK,
I decided to track down............."[/i]

Thanks Cam.
Excellent info. Will definitely get me out of trouble. I can now put it on my "to do" list of projects. Seems like the list is getting longer, not shorter.
