Catalytic Converter

Hi,

I am new here and have a question.

I want to import a corvette c3 into NSW from USA. I read that corvettes have catalytic converters fitted from 1975 onward. If I bring in a pre-1975 corvette, would there be any problem with the lack of a catalytic converter? I don't think the vehicle has much chance of passing emissions requirements.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Cheers,
Daniel

Unless things have changed, you won't fail an emissions test because the car won't be subjected to one given that its a pre-1976 model. ;42

;51 Hi VO btw.
No cat required although I am sure you will easily find plenty of knuckle heads who try and tell you otherwise.
