It looks like a nice car to me, what C3 doesn't need something really.
Now, just offering an opinion here. If I were to buy another C3 in the 73-82 range my choice would be the 1980. Why? Last year with no computerized crap on it, available with a 4-speed (yes I know 81's had them). But, not having the computer on the car makes things easier to work on when it needs to be fixed IMO, and one less part to fix when it fries. Just thinking out loud.

hmm, well, thats an interesting thought that ive also been thinking about a lot lately... I really want a car with the minimum computer crap inside it to make it easier to fix up in the future :)
allways wanted to know what the last year of non-computerisation was.

Nik,
Also keep in mind the reason I made that comment was that I took into consideration what it costs you guys to buy one here, then import it, convert to RHD, and keep within your laws. I've had many talks with Brutus about how regulated the laws are concerning cars. Now on the other hand if money is not a concern, the computer really doesn't matter as the 81-82 computer was really basic and unlike the ones cars have today. Also, if you plan to modify the car like I did and drop in a 383 stroker motor, 700r4 tranny etc then the computer becomes just another part to rip out and toss into a box in the garage.
Decisions, decisions :22
