This is where I spent part of my Sunday last weekend. There was a private track hire of WSID and SR Performance asked me if I'd like to come by for a sticky beak. Steve was there to get some baseline numbers with a customer (and club members) C6 Z06 before it underwent its intended performance modifications.
Here is the car in question, up until my driving up to WSID I had always imagined this car was yellow for some reason... ;40 ;41
I arrived after the days quickest passes were made, but Steve took it out for one more pass so we had some pics and I could see the car in action.

The last pass:
What did it do?
The timeslip from the quickest pass of the day.
(Yes, C6 Z06's are capable of 11.6-11.7 ET's factory stock. In this case traction and sympathy for the owners car were the biggest factors. I've seen 500+rwhp C6 Z06's that can't run quicker than 12.2 (reportedly due to traction issues)).
Quickest ET of the day was 12.1
Fastest MPH of the day was 123MPH
Yes it is shiny... ;41
I know the car has since started down the modification path, Steve will be providing updates as they happen.
