LT1 Inlet

(1/2) > >>

1G1YY:
Is there anyone in OZ who has successfully converted an LT1 inlet manifold to accept a HEI distributor..?

First hand experience or leads would be appreciated.
This is for a proposed TPI to LT1 inlet swap on a C4.

Thanx in anticipation...

Thunder Kiss:
I don't know anyone here but I guess you're already familiar with LT1intake.com?

fixer:
Do you have parts yet. Check your U2U.

White88:
It might be easier to get hold of a TPIS mini ram , same as LT1 inlet and made to go straight on to L98's.
Beside the distributor issue, are the coolant passages the same, because I think LT1 's are a reverse flow type of motor.
Good luck. Let us now how you go

White...u r correct...a Miniram would be easier.
And correct again..there are no coolant passages in the LT1 inlet, as they are, indeed, reverse flow.

Thunder...thanx, yes I am aware of LT1intake.com.

fixer...I have some parts, and I checked U2U, but there is nothing from you...?

Thanks for the replies.
Meanwhile, I will keep looking...
